She was born in Sherman Oaks, California to a Greek father who is the source of that nose and her manly features. In her youth she moved to Greece for a short while before settling back in New York where her father was a soap star.

She aspired to achieve fame as an actress and was given chance after chance in television shows, but all were short-lived. She was even selected to star in the horrific movie Leprechaun. Finally her real break came when she was cast as Rachel Green on the hit show Friends. She co-starred on the show for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004.

Early in the series she was adored for her cute face and her globally admired hairstyles. As the years passed she was wed to actor heartthrob Brad Pitt, but was later divorced when he teamed up with Angelina Jolie.

In recent years she has starred in a handful of films which have done pretty well. Her personal life continues to be a popular subject on the covers of all the rag mags at grocery store checkouts everywhere. She apparently become impregnated at the age of 40.
