He was born in San Francisco and adopted by parents in Mountain View, California. He had a lot of interest in computers from a young age, attending lectures at Hewlett-Packard where he was hired alongside Steve Wozniak.
He took a job at video game manufacturer Atari again working with Wozniak. He went to India, became a Buddhist, and began expanding his mind with the psychedelic hallucinogen LSD. He returned to Atari where he did unethical things like screwing Wozniak out of the money he was owed for helping Jobs with his work.
He finally started Apple with funding from a multimillionaire. He got cancer and continues to run the company with an iron fist, continually making evident his nature as a control freak in all of Apple's products and services. But he is trying his best to push technology forward as quickly and as far as possible.
